Blue Ivy Carter is growing up fast, and her resemblance to her superstar mother, Beyoncé, is striking.
The 13-year-old was spotted courtside with her dad, Jay-Z, on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs game at the Crypto.com Arena, prompting fans to gush on social media. Many joked that “Beyoncé really copied and pasted herself” and that “Blue Ivy looks so much like her mom.”
Beyond the uncanny resemblance, Blue Ivy showcased her own celebrity-worthy style. She wore baggy blue jeans paired with a leather jacket layered over a Mercedes-Benz shirt, accessorized with strappy wedge sneakers, a sparkly silver Diesel purse, black sunglasses, a stack of necklaces, and gold hoop earrings. Her dark hair flowed in long straight waves with blond ombré tips, complemented by mascara, lip liner, and a meticulous manicure.
Jay-Z kept his look understated in an all-black outfit with shades, while the father-daughter duo appeared in high spirits, enjoying the game and posing for photos together.
Though Blue Ivy was largely shielded from the spotlight during her younger years, she has recently begun stepping into her own fame. She made her stage debut in 2023 alongside Beyoncé, joining backup dancers for “My Power” and “Black Parade” during the singer’s “Renaissance” tour in Paris.
The eldest child of the power couple, who married in 2008, shares 8-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with Jay-Z, who were not present at the game.
