They’re Threatening Me, My Family Over My New Year Message, Peter Obi Cries Out

Former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has raised the alarm over threat to his life after his recent New Year Message.
Obi in a post on the social media, cited threats directed at his life, family and associates.
The former Presidential candidate wondered whether his message had crossed a lin.
Among individuals he said voiced opposition to his message, Obi called out Felix Morka, for allegedly accusing him of overstepping boundaries, warned of consequences.
Obi who shared the disturbing messages with his followers, urged those who missed his New Year address to watch it.
He, however, stressed his unwavering commitment to speaking out against what he perceived as a growing trend toward authoritarianism in the country.
He also expressed concern about the erosion of democratic practices and the increasing suppression of freedom of expression in Nigeria.
“I remain committed to upholding decorum, but I will not be silenced in my resolve to speak truthfully,” Obi wrote,
