Three Sustain Injuries In A Ghastly Car Accident

A ghastly car accident has occurred in front of Ogiso market, popularly known as New market, along Second East Circular road, Benin City.

The disaster, which took place around afternoon, according to an eye witness; Mr. Lucky Eguagun, a commercial taxi driver, involving a black Mercedes Benz, happened due to an uncontrollably reckless over-speeding, by two suspected ritualists, leaving three traders seriously injured.

A vigilante security personnel, added that the C- Class and another SUV, have been involved in such reckless overspeeding at midnights for over two weeks, while noting that such trend of driving has become a common occurrence in Benin metropolis.

Meanwhile, during this report, efforts to secure comments from the Police officers who were present at the scene were to no avail.

The public is thereby advised to be cautious and watch out to ensure they do not fall victims, as this development is now a daily thing.
