The President and Founder of the Sir Henry Osegbowa Foundation, Mrs. Tina Osegbowa, has been honoured with the prestigious Starz Humanitarian Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to humanitarian service, community development, and the empowerment of vulnerable populations.
A renowned humanitarian, social service professional, and community advocate, Mrs. Osegbowa has dedicated her life to improving the lives of people in need through compassionate service and impactful interventions.
A graduate of William James College, where she earned a degree in Psychology and Human Services, Mrs. Osegbowa has spent many years supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals experiencing homelessness, and other underserved members of society. Her professional expertise, coupled with a deep sense of empathy, has enabled her to champion the dignity, inclusion, and well-being of countless individuals.
Inspired by the enduring kindness of her late mother and guided by her Christian faith, Mrs. Osegbowa embraced humanitarian service as a lifelong mission. Even before establishing the Sir Henry Osegbowa Foundation, she was actively involved in providing assistance to orphanages, widows, vulnerable families, and individuals facing difficult circumstances, often carrying out these acts of kindness without seeking public recognition.
