Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh brought congregants to their feet during the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) service at Streams of Joy International Church on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with a raw, emotional testimony of divine deliverance from decades-long struggles.
In a viral video captured by DCLImagery on YouTube, the 40-year-old star—led to the altar by Pastor Jerry Eze—opened up about battles with smoking (since age 13), alcohol addiction, masturbation, spiritual oppression (including sexual encounters in dreams since childhood), and what she called “demonic anger” that wrecked relationships.
“I smoked for 27 years… God healed me from masturbation too. I’ve known sexual intercourse in dreams since I was a child,” Dikeh shared, crediting her turnaround to fervent NSPPD prayers and a recent Ghana Prayer Conference.
She almost skipped the public testimony over “image” fears: “The devil said protect your image—but what image? The God who gave it can take it.” Instead, she chose gratitude: “Today, my body repels cigarettes and alcohol. The urges are gone—the body of sin is broken.”
Dikeh traced her smoking to childhood exposure (“My dad was a smoker—little habits can inhabit your kids”) and hailed newfound peace: “I’m 40 and I’ve never known peace until now. I’m living in it.”
