Udomi Community Celebrates Gov Okpebholo, Coordinator Office of the First Lady at Thanksgiving Service

The Udomi community in Esan Central, Edo State, came together to celebrate a significant milestone – the victory of His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, and to honor the Coordinator Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani. The thanksgiving service, held at the Apostolic Church Udomi, was attended by dignitaries from various walks of life.
The Apostolic Church Udomi was established in 1952 and has been a cornerstone of the community’s spiritual life. It holds a special place in the hearts of the community members. Notably, the first convert of the Apostolic Church in Udomi, Evangelist Late Pa. Uwaya Michael Okpebholo, the patriarch of the Udomi community, who played a pivotal role in shaping the community’s faith.
The thanksgiving service was specifically held to honor Governor Monday Okpebholo’s victory at the polls and tribunal. The community was filled with joy and elation as they danced to songs of praise and thanksgiving, Expressing their gratitude to God Almighty for the governor’s victory.
The Coordinator Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, heartfelt speech emphasized the significance of collective prayers for the Governor’s success and the need for divine guidance in leadership.
She expressed her gratitude to God Almighty for the Governor’s victory and urged the community to continue praying for him, acknowledging the challenges that come with leadership.
The Governor’s desire to bring development to Edo State was highlighted, with Mrs. Anani praying for God’s enablement for him to succeed.
The Ujabhole District Pastor, Pastor C. A. Okoduwa, delivered a sermon titled “The Benefit of Thanksgiving,” emphasizing the importance of instilling a spirit of thanksgiving in the lives of Christians.
The thanksgiving service was a resounding success, with the community coming together to express their appreciation to their heavenly father.
The event underscored the importance of gratitude and the role of collective prayers in supporting leaders.
