What: She returned to writing WAEC because she needed mathematics?

Enioluwa Adeoluwa, a media personality and content producer, has written a moving ode to his mother, Dr. Bola Adeoluwa, who recently received her PhD.

Enioluwa praised his mother as the “quiet force” behind their family’s prosperity in a heartfelt Instagram post. Although his father’s academic talents frequently take centre stage, mom has had an equally significant role in forming their ideals and successes.

According to Enioluwa, his mother’s academic career has been remarkable. She returned to take the WAEC (West African Examinations Council) exam at the age of 45 to fulfil a prerequisite for pursuing her goal of earning a PhD, even though she already had two bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, and a postgraduate diploma.

He wrote, “Her journey is what inspires me most.” “She returned to writing WAEC because she needed mathematics, and in order to fulfil her dream, she enrolled in another bachelor’s program at the age of 45.”

He referred to her as “his biggest inspiration” and a living example of tenacity and self-belief, praising her fortitude and quiet courage. Resilience is what that is. Strength is that. That has always been her steadfast core. She stood up for herself, even when no one else was around,” he continued.
