FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has reinstated two senior officials previously suspended: Dr. Danlami Hayyo, Mandate Secretary for Education, and Mr. Michael Ango, Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS).
The reinstatement was announced on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in a statement by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
Wike directed both officials to resume duties immediately while issuing a stern warning against indiscipline among FCT Administration staff: “Acts of indiscipline will not be tolerated.”
The suspensions—earlier linked to operational and administrative concerns—have now been lifted, signaling a return to full operations for the affected secretariats.
