Benin City, Edo State – All Nations Theological School, Edo State Campus, celebrated its 4th Convocation Ceremony in a grand event that brought together scholars, dignitaries, and supporters. The ceremony, held in Benin City, was highlighted by a colorful procession of awardees and graduates adorned in elegant academic gowns, which set the stage for a memorable day.
Among the distinguished honorees was Professor Amina Comfort Ebor, who received an Honorary Professorship Award, and Pastor Dan Omozusi, General Manager of Independent Radio, who was conferred with a Doctorate Degree in Theology. Their recognitions were part of the convocation’s celebration of excellence in academics and service.
The event was presided over by the Rector of All Nations Theological School, Apostle Professor Akpan Utibe, along with Edo State Coordinators Bishop Dr. A.E. Jerrylaw and Apostle Dr. Precious I. Umukoro. Chief Host Pastor Professor Kelly Obasuyi joined in congratulating the graduates, reflecting on the institution’s remarkable growth over its four-year journey in Edo State. They emphasized the school’s mission to nurture students in both learning and character, preparing them to contribute positively to society and the body of Christ.
In their addresses, the school’s leaders encouraged the graduates to be ambassadors of faith, urging them to use their newly acquired knowledge to advance the Gospel and societal progress.
The ceremony was also attended by notable figures who came to support Professor Ebor, including media consultant and politician Comrade Agharese Idubor, oil magnate and PTD chieftain Comrade Bamidele John, Magorawa Motors MD/CEO and former SSA to the Governor of Edo State, Alhaji Aliyu Sahabi Umar, and esteemed elder statesman and media figure Prince Osasumwen Obadagbonyi. They joined other admirers, including former Special Adviser Hon. Ivie Adun, Mrs. Josephine Ogege, and Madam Felicia Atamah, in celebrating Professor Ebor’s achievements.
They praised Professor Ebor’s character and dedication, encouraging her to view this honor as a call for greater commitment to kingdom work.
Expressing her appreciation, Professor Amina Comfort Ebor thanked her supporters and acknowledged God’s role in her academic journey. She commended All Nations Theological School’s commitment to strong moral training, noting that the values she learned would guide her both spiritually and in other pursuits. “Character is a mirror,” she stated, adding that she felt well-prepared to excel in all areas of life.
The ceremony concluded with Apostle Professor Akpan Utibe presenting certificates to over 50 graduates across various academic levels, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, and Professorship. The convocation ceremony was a testament to the school’s impact and the achievements of its graduates, poised to make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.

She was conferred with an Honorary Professorship Award in recognition of her contributions to leadership and service. Professor Ebor, a former Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), has been celebrated for her impact on media and leadership, and this honor adds to her recent academic achievement of a professorial degree in Leadership and Management. Also honored was Pastor Dan Omozusi, General Manager of Independent Radio, who received a Doctorate Degree in Theology.
