Coordinator Office of the FirstLady Encourage Women participation in politics

The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Anani, has stressed the need for women to participate actively in politics.
she made the call during a courtesy visit by the Nigeria League of Women Voters, NILOWV, Edo State Chapter in Government House, Benin city.
Mrs Anani who was impressed by the great impacts the women are making in the society, assured them of her support and willingness to collaborate with the organization.
The Chairperson, Barr. Mrs Anthonia Asagba enumerated the vision and mission of the organization and progress made so far on the 74 special seat bill.
According to her,the forthcoming empowerment and award presentation program is a collaboration with Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Edo State on Ward to Ward Campaign, aim at encouraging women to participate actively in politics.
The Vice-chairperson Edo Central, Mrs. Betty Okonoboh in her vote of thanks , appreciating Mrs Anani for her willingness to support the organization.
