Saudi Arabia confirmed the sighting of the Dhul Hijjah crescent moon on Thursday, June 6, marking the beginning of the 12th month in the Islamic lunar calendar. As a result, the holy month of Dhul Hijjah starts today, Friday, June 14, 2024. This announcement followed the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia’s call for all Muslims in the Kingdom to participate in the moon sighting on Wednesday.
