A former governorship aspirant on the platform of Labour Party for the Edo 2024 gubernatorial election, Dr Dorry Afe Okojie has resigned from Labour Party.
In a letter of resignation addressed to the chairman of Labour Party, Ward 4, Ohordua in Esan South -East Local Government Area of Edo State and signed by Dr Dorry Okojie himself, also indicated that he quit from active politics for the meantime.
He explained that his resignation is to enable him focus on his business and grow it.
While thanking members of Labour Party for the support they availed him while seeking the party’s governorship ticket, Dr Okojie assured of his continuous support to the party and politicians in the state.
