Edesili Anani Admonishes Student to Shun Cultism

The Coordinatior, Office of the First Lady, Edesili Anani, has advised students to shun cultism.
She stated this when the Student Union Governments of University of Benin, led by the Vice President, Omotuemen Favour paid her a visit in Government House.
Mrs Anani said, they should be good ambassador of the school as the leader adding that they should try to organised programme that will add value to their academics.
She stressed the need for proper screening before election to ensure right people are elected to run the affairs of the Union.
She made it clear to them that the noble laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka who commenced the movement of confraternity, was to fight victimization of student in territary institutions but the present generation has changed the narrative to oppressing one another.
According to her, the Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo is working hard to make the state zero tolerance for cultism.

Earlier, the Vice President, Omotuemen Favour explained they were in Government house in order to solicit for her support and create initiative to boost University of Benin Student.
