EDHA Member, Bright Iyamu Host Muslim Faithful

The honourable member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency, in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu on Friday, broke the fast with Muslim faithful at his residence in the legislative quarters, Benin-city, Edo State.
The muslim faithful led by Chief Iman, Haruna Umar Farouk broke their fast with prayers, and there was a lot of fruits and food available for everyone present.
The event was attended by Hon. Iyamu’s political associates, members of the House of Assembly, Muslim faithful, staff of the House of Assembly and legislative quarters in commemoration of Ramadan fasting.
Ramadan is the holy month where Muslims across the world fast for 29 or 30 days.
On his part, Hon Iyamu thanked the Muslim faithful led by Chief Iman, Haruna Umar Farouk for breaking the fast at his residence and prayed Allah accept all their prayers.
He said the essence was to promote unity, love and peaceful coexistence between Muslim and non Muslim in the Assembly to enable them see each other as one despite their religion.
Recall that few days ago, the Lawmaker visited the Muslim community at Ugo Niyekeorhionmwon where he donated food stuff to the Muslim faithful.
High point of the event was the prayer sessions led by Chief Iman, Haruna Umar Farouk who prayed for the host Hon. Iyamu and his household, the good people of Orhionmwon South Constituency and Edo state at large.
Chief Iman Farouk prayed Allah SWT to accept the act and reward everyone accordingly. He appreciated Hon. Iyamu for his benevolence to Muslim faithful.
Some Muslim faithful Bello Aliu, Fatima Sambo, Mohammed Oyakhire and Abdulganiyu Akokhi appreciate the gesture and prayed Almighty Allah shower the blessings of Ramadan on Hon. Bright Iyamu and everyone present during the prayer session.
