EDO SETS SCHOOL RESUMPTION FOR SEPTEMBER

Edo State Ministry Of Education has announced that the 2024/2025 Academic year will commence on September 9th, 2024 for both private and public schools in Edo State.
The Permanent Secretary , Mr Akin_Longe Ojo in a statement on behalf of the Commissioner for Education, Dr Joan Oviawe, further stressed that Academic activities would resume immediately, in line with the state Education policy.
The statement urges parents/guardians to ensure their children and wards return to school on the designated date.
It reminded Parents, Guardians, and care Givers that attendance was compulsory for all pupils as it was essential for assessments.
The statement reaffirmed Governments commitment towards ensuring and maintaining a conductive Learning Environment and providing essential facilities in schools in line with the Edo Best initiative.
