F.G ASSURED OF CONTINOUS SUPPORT TO PRESERVING EDO CULTURAL HERITAGE

Nigeria’s vice president, Senator Kashim Shetima says President Tinubu led APC administration remains committed to preservation of cultural heritage, support traditional institutions to foster peace and development in the country.

Vice president Shetima stated this when he led APC governors and some senators on a courtesy visit to the Benin monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare the second at his palace in Benin

According to him, the current administration recognizes the roles of traditional institutions maintaining that the federal government would ensure peaceful coexistence in the Nigeria state.

Sen Shetima assured that the Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa candidacy would engender growth and overall development of Edo state.

Responding, the Benin monarch His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare the second promised to ensure peace, development and harmonious relationship across the state, stressing that the throne would continue to intensify prayers for the overall development of the state and country at large.
