Governor Obaseki Inaugurate Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board

Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki says the State Government will continue to give support to the Muslim Community in the State in practicing their faith.
Governor Obaseki stated this at the inauguration of members of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board and the official Commissioning of the Hajj camp in Benin City.
He appreciated Muslim Community for supporting his administration in the past seven and half years and promised to expand the scope of the food support programme to capture more Muslims in the State.
Governor Obaseki appealed to Edo State PDP Governorship Candidate, Dr Aseun Ighodalo to ensure he carries the Muslim community along if elected Governor of the State
On his part ,Edo PDP Governorship Candidate Dr Aseun Ighodalo promised to partner the Muslim community in providing good governance if voted into power come September 21
Earlier in a remark, Edo State Chairman of Muslim prigrimes welfare Board, Sheikh Ibrahim Oyarekhua thanked Governor Obaseki for his administrations support to the Muslim community in the past seven and half years.
High point of the event was the bestowing of best Hajj Support Governor to the Muslim community in Nigeria and another award of the Best Friendly Governor to the Muslim community in Nigeria to Governor Godwin Obaseki.
