International Children’s Day: Hon. Bright Iyamu Vows to Protect, Preserve Orhionmwon South’s Children

Hon. Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu, the member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency and a Human Rights Protector Advocate, has reiterated his commitment to preserving and protecting the children of Orhionmwon South. Describing children as our heritage.
Hon. Iyamu emphasized the importance of ensuring their welfare and wellbeing, saying “Children are the future of our society, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the necessary support and resources to thrive.”
To this end, Hon. Iyamu has outlined several programs geared towards the welfare and wellbeing of Orhionmwon children which includes; legislating policies that promote children’s rights and protection, providing educational materials and support to enhance their learning experience and empowering their parents and wards through small and medium-scale business assistance.
He listed others to includes, scholarship programs to support their educational pursuits and many other projects aimed at promoting the overall development of Orhionmwon children
Iyamu urged the children to engage in activities that the society would be proud of, saying “I encourage you all to be good ambassadors of our community, to work hard, and to pursue your dreams with determination and perseverance.”
International Children’s Day is celebrated annually, to raise awareness about children’s rights, welfare, and education. It is a day to recognize the importance of children in our society and to reaffirm our commitment to providing them with the necessary support and resources to grow and thrive.
The lawmaker commitment to the children of Orhionmwon South is a testament to his dedication to the wellbeing of his constituents and his passion for promoting the rights and welfare of children. His initiatives and programs aimed at supporting the children of Orhionmwon South are a step in the right direction towards creating a brighter future for our children.
