Nigeria’s First Lady, NDDC Donate 500 uLesson Tablets to Empower Secondary School Students in Edo

In line with the NDDC’s partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative of Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria has allocated 500 uLesson tablets to the office of the First Lady, Edo State for distribution to selected schools in urban areas of the state.

 

The Coordinator office of the FirstLady, Mrs Edesili Okpebholo Anani lauded the Renewed Hope Initiative of Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria and NDDC for initiating a timely intervention in the Educational sector.

 

This initiative aligns with the mission to facilitate rapid and sustainable development in the Niger Delta Region, stressing that by investing in education, they can empower the next generation of leaders and contribute to the region’s prosperity.

 

The Coordinator who was represented by Chief Protocol Officer, Office of the First Lady, Mrs Mabel Obetor, stated that these NDDC and uLESSON Educational Tablets are going to be distributed to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools ensuring they are used judiciously.

During the presentation by Edo State Director of NDDC, Mrs Mercy Babawale, said the development initiative is made to ensure every child get quality education.

 

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of the 500 uLesson tablets to the office of the first lady to boost Renewed Hope Initiative in partnership with NDDC to underscore the importance of education in Nigeria.
