Osayande pays May salaries with Edo’s new 70,000 minimum wage

The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman, Dr. Eric Osayande, has paid workers in Ikpoba-Okha with the newly-established 70k minimum wage in Edo State.
Recall that in his May 1st speech, the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, pronounced that workers in Edo will now earn with the 70k minimum wage, shortly after the Governor jacked up the minimum wage from 40k to 70k, a development that attracted huge applauds from observers within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
Workers in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Council, upon receiving their alerts Friday, May 24, 2024, are now smiling to the bank owing to the exponential increase in their May salaries.
Osayande has said he will continue to develop friendly policies that seeks to bring satisfaction to workers, joy to the people and development to the communities in Ikpoba-Okha local government area.
