There was thrills and excitement at Utesi Community in Ikpoba-okha Local Government Area, as a block of classroom was commissioned by Hon Nicolas Asonsere, member representing the good people of Ikpoba-okha in the Edo state House of Assembly.
Hon Asonsere said the project was part of his promise to his constituency to bring development to his community and improve on the legislative system in Ikpoba-okha to meet the educational needs of Utesi community children.
He further stated that he had promised to bring development and change to his community for the good of everyone by improving on the educational system and infrastructural development of the community.
The Enogie of Utesi Community, HRH Osazuwa Uhenkpenma was elated about the school commissioning in his community. He said ” I am happy because the entire system is now functioning and we have a school in our community. I appreciate all the donors of the three blocks of Class Rooms for making the project a reality”.
Sawmiller Association Chairman, Comrade Friday Aiguokhian JP, who also doubled as the Project Manager, hinted that the school will make learning more convenient for the children, and parents will not have to go a long distance to take their children to school.
He lauded the developmental stride of Hon Asonsere for facilitating the renovation of the one block of primary school. According to him “We are indeed happy and this is a dream come true for Utesi Community”.
General manager Engr Osazuwa Osarume CSDA who was represented by Ogizien Spencer, appealed to the community leaders and stakeholders to make the maintenance of the property a priority.
