Take ownership of your security, Anambra CP Itam charges residents, indigenes

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono Itam, has again called on residents and indigenes to take ownership of their security.

Itam who stated this at a security stakeholders’ meeting held in Ihaila local government area of the state, urged them to join voices in condemning any act that could threaten national peace.

The CP who later held a closed door meeting with senior members of the LG Council, members of Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG), President Generals and representatives of the traditional rulers, reiterated the need for honest and patriotic involvement of residents and indigenes in securing the state.

He reiterated the Command’s commitment to consolidating on the gains in crime prevention restoration of law and order and improving the safety and security of lives in the State.
