Nigerian Internationally Acclaimed Lawyer , Policy Analyst and Writer – Douglas Ogbankwa Esq Launches Two Books -“Nuggets for Life ,Revised Edition” and “Tales from Benin ” on February,11th ,2025- His Birthday.
The former Director of Strategic Communications of the Africans Bar Association (AfBA) and the President of Benin Writers’ Society-Douglas Ogbankwa Esq is set to launch two books indicated above as part of his birthday celebrations on the 11th of February,2025 .
The Event promises to be a celebration of one of Nigeria ‘s iconic young personalities, who has contributed immensely to the growth of creative writing and the promotion of the “Benin Brand” all around the world .In appreciation of his contribution to Writing , the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) has named his as the only Nigerian Panelists in an International Online Conclave on the Opportunities and Perils of Writing Autobiographies , which holsd virtually on Zoom on 2nd February,2025.
In a chat recently on the book launch Douglas Ogbankwa Esq said ‘I feel every way a Benin Man .I love Benin so much so I adopted a Benin Name “Osadebamwen”.Benin has given me everything I have .I like to call Benin the land of endless opportunities.There are very few places in Nigeria you can rise to the heights of your career with out tribal prejudices.Deapite the distractions of a failed few , My love for Benin will never fade , that is why in appreciation of the love showed to me by the Benin Spirit , I am launching my book “Tales from Benin ” , to be a beacon of the history of my interesting journey in Benin .Oba Gha’ to’ kpere’ Ise'” , he said
