Eid-ul-Adha: Iyamu felicitates with Muslim Ummah

The Honourable member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu has felicitate with the muslim ummah on Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
In a statement, Iyamu said “I celebrate our Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year Eid-ul-Adha. I pray Allah accept all our prayers and supplication, keep blessing us, and give us strength at every important step in our lives”.
Iyamu used the opportunity to reassure his constituents of continuous development and fostering positive legislative actions that would uplift the lives of the people in Orhiomwon, especially the less privileged.
He urged Muslims to use this opportunity to pray for lawmakers in the state and country at large for Allah’s guidance and direction for a better representation.
The statement also called on Muslim brothers and sisters in the constituency to pray for a peace and prosperity in the state, especially as the off-circle election in Edo draws closer.
The festival of Eid-ul-Adha spreads love and compassion among us, let’s love and cherish everyone around us.” may Allah’s blessings fill your life with peace, joy and open all the doors of success for you and your entire family.”
He further stated that “unconditional love is a testament to the depth of Allah’s love for each and every one of us, let us also reflect on the teaching of Prophet Muhammed and examine our hearts and acknowledge our own need for forgiveness and love our neighbors”.
Eid-ul-Adha which is also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice”, commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his only son, Ishmael to Allah which was later replaced with a ram.
Muslim ummah across the world celebrate Eid-ul-Adha which follows the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, at the time of Qurbani (sacrifice), which is an obligation for all Muslim’s who fit specific criteria, one of the important Five Pillars of Islam.
Hon. Iyamu wishes a Happy Eid-ul-Adha to our Muslim ummah in Orhionmwon South Constituency and Edo state at large.
